Re: The Gauntlet 11/18/2018 @ The Wizard's Chest

Here is a quote from Chris Mortika in this thread that is very useful: "1) You want to be able to heal from any injury or debilitating condition, even death, in the middle of a fight. The one everybody forgets is blindness. 2) You want to be able to fight just fine in total darkness. Supernatur...

The Gauntlet 11/18/2018 @ The Wizard's Chest

Dan, Jimmy, Marie, This is the thread for those of us who have signed up for The Gauntlet at the WC on the 18th of November. THIS IS NO JOKE! Everyone signed up needs to be involved! My nagaji doesn't want to leave you for dead and I don't want you to leave me for dead. I survived Bonekeep. Four of ...

Re: November 2018 @ The Wizard's Chest

I'll go ahead and post the answer to your question here since it will be useful for everyone. First of all, it is frowned upon to play a pregen in a special like The Gauntlet or Bonekeep. I will not allow it. It's kinda complicated for me to explain in typing, but someone else might be able to expla...

Re: November 2018 @ The Wizard's Chest

I am going to go with Rakesh, my 8th lvl Nagaji Ranger (skirmisher archetype). Str & Dex build so he's a "switch-hitter"; Two-weapon fighting primary & archery secondary. He also has the "Student of Swords" GM Star Reward sheet. Many of the boons on this sheet, as well as...

Re: November 2018 @ The Wizard's Chest

Dan & Jimmy, Do you guys know which PC you'll be bringing through The Gauntlet? I would like to play my Nagaji Ranger, but, I have several other PCs in the 7-9 level range. Post what you have available. We need to put together a well-rounded party before we sit down at the table and taking up a ...

Uh-oh. Hopefully, if we get only 4 players, we can all have 9th level characters. I think i have a couple.

November 2018 @ The Wizard's Chest

Greetings, Pathfinders! Here is the schedule for November. If you sign up to play The Gauntlet, definitely bring your 'A-Game'. Also, please state which PC you plan on bringing. This will help the GM & other players to prepare for the game. Games are $2 to play which goes to your GM as a 'Thank ...

Re: October 2018 PFS @ The Wizard's Chest

To whoever sees this,
For tomorrow's game (the 21st) please bring a black or dark brown marker, crayon, or colored pencil. If possible bring a couple extra for fellow players. I'll see what i can dig up to bring.

A ton of thanks!

Re: October 2018 PFS @ The Wizard's Chest

We have 3 players total for tomorrow. I'm just hoping for 2 more for 5 players total. 3 more would be excellent.

I did send an invite to my D&D group. Maybe one or two of the guys will give PFS a try.

Re: October 2018 PFS @ The Wizard's Chest

Sorry Christian, won't be able to make it to Sunday's game. Still going to be in grand junction. Which makes me sad because I really liked the Halloween pun you came up with for my name. Oh, crap. Ok. Happy travels and a safe journey to ya! That means we need a couple players for Sunday the 21st. B...

Disregard the earlier post (above). The Manager at WC confirmed that there will be space for our game on Sunday the 21st.

See ya then.

Re: October 2018 PFS @ The Wizard's Chest

Regarding the game on Sunday the 21st; Wizard's Chest might not have room for us due to the Halloween season. I'm considering moving our game to either Tabletop Tap or The Brew on Broadway, both are in downtown Englewood. The BoB does have a private room with a large table perfect for gaming, which...
