COVID-19 and Society Play

Greetings all,

A quick but serious note. Though COVID-19 seems to have only a minor effect on most, people with pre-existing conditions are suffering greatly, many even dying. Out of respect for your fellow gamers, if you’re feeling ill at all, please don’t attend games. Keep in mind that you probably don’t know if one of the other players, the GM, store patrons or even the family and friends of your fellow gamers has a condition that makes them more vulnerable to COVID-19 and it's potential deadliness.

Take care of yourselves, be understanding if games get canceled with short notice, and we will all continue to keep our great communities together.

Thanks!
Zach

Related to this, I would just like to add one thing. Wash your hands!

Essentially, these are both good tips for a healthy life whether or not there is some new illness. Wash your hands, and if you feel sick, stay home. Whether it is COVID-19 or a common cold, we don't want to spread it. Both of these things will do more to prevent the spread of infections diseases than anything else.

Yes, definitely this. The increased hygiene people have been doing has had positive effects on lowering this years flu spread, too!

Just got word from Eric at Collectormania, and he has asked us to suspend all games temporarily for society play in the store. I have posted on the store forums, and will update again when the situation changes. Be safe everyone!
