The Anniversary Edition is all one book. I have the pdf though if you want to check it out.
That would be great RC. Thank you. I'll send you a PM with my email.

Okay, character ideas (but the first one is 99% certain as what I'll do):
-Oread Shaitan Binder (summoner archetype)--almost certain that I'm using this one
-Human or Sylph Dervish of Dawn/Warpriest (Dervish of Dawn is a 1 level dip at 1st level) only plan to use if we have no healer in the party

Additionally, I don't know how everyone else feels, but I think it would be a better playing experience if we hold back on sharing backstories here so they can just organically be experienced as they come to light at the table over the first few sessions (or possibly even further). Perhaps just PM Richard backstory elements so he can use those as he sees fit during the campaign?
Essentially, it's cool to share what we're playing to make sure we have a balanced party, but maybe we could hold back who we're playing to make that more of a surprise. Thoughts? Agree? Disagree?

Having background info reveals during play could be fun, especially if give my magus the same backstory as I did in Jade Regent.

As a follow-on to my questions from before:
What will be "legal" to play here? Are you planning on only allowing races that are legal in PFS or that have been made legal through boons? Alternatively, can we play any race from chapters 1-3 in the ARG? Better yet, can we play any playable race from any bestiary
For example, I wouldn't mind playing a:
Hobgoblin (no creature is BORN evil)
Aasimar
Fetchling
Shabti
Gathlain (as shown in Ult Wilderness)
Drow (I say again, no creature is BORN evil)

etc., or any other race that has no racial HD and does not include an initial CR to overcome.

Please, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying that my character is dependent on using one of these races, and please don't exclude me on the basis of this question. I'm just wondering what my options are.

Goblins of any kind would be problematic as there is a standing bounty in Sandpoint for killing them. Otherwise I’d LOVE to play a goblin character. Drown in Golarion are born evil unfortunately (they have all been corrupted by demon lords) so no way around that besides a NIMU (not in my universe) from Richard.

Per my conversation with Richard after the gaming on 7/10/19, Zaia would like to be on standby in the event that anyone drops out.

I have a couple of ideas for a bard or a rogue(shocker guys). Bard would more than likely be just a regular bard, possibly an archetype, but haven’t quite decided yet. The rogue would be the cutpurse archetype for some extra flavor.

So, just checking in to see where we stand with this.
Thought we were starting in September, but it's not on the list, so is it starting in October?
I'll be running an Oread shaitan binder (summoner archetype) unless no one else wants to play a healing character.
Have the rest of the crew settled on classes and such?

Thanks for the character build info, Richard!
In terms of backstory, are you wanting us coming in already as a party of adventurers, or are we just random individuals who happen to show up there at the same time? It makes a difference in how I'll be playing my characters, so I just want to be ready for that.

Character concept.

Persephone. Tiefling bladebound kensai magus. Worshiper of Sarenrae and a dervish dancer with the scimitar. Was a literal hellion growing up but was “saved” by a Sarenite cleric as a young adult. No longer a thief with “devil magic” she wanders about looking for anything that will keep her out of trouble.

I'll leave that up to you guys as a team. Though I will throw this in. If you are a group of Pathfinders - I'll consider this your first mission after the Confirmation and provide everyone with a standard wayfinder.

I would vote starting as strangers for the fun of role-playing our way into being a party, but I'll happily go with whatever the group prefers.

I agree wholeheartedly with this idea.
