Hail and Well Met Pathfinders!

Image

Welcome to Season 3 of Pathfinder Society 2E. Enter the Magus and the Summoner – Please make sure you pick up your copy of Secrets of Magic.

Please Note: There have been substantial changes to the PFS2E Organizational Play. Please review the following link to familiarize yourself with these changes and the impact they may have on you as a GM. Pathfinder Society (Second Edition) Guide to Organized Play

I do have a lot of requests for people to be able to GM a PF2E game. Please limit your signups to one game, but do sign yourself up to play games prior to the weekly sign-ups going out if you GM I do need PFS1 GM’s for a few scenarios.

I appreciate each and every one of you and appreciate the strong GM base I have

Just as a reminder:
  • Games start at 6pm and end at 10pm. Let's be respectful of our hosts and try to end on time!
  • We follow the D11 weather closure schedule; if D11 is closed on Wednesday, PFS/SFS is canceled for the night. Please be safe and plan accordingly.
  • Please make sure that your real name (or at least whatever you'd like me to call you on the schedule) is listed in your post. If your account is ChunkyLover53 and you don't list your real name, you will be christened...
  • Sign up as soon as possible, you can always cancel if you need to
  • Please do not hot-swap tables!
  • Any sign ups on the day of the game (Wednesday) may not get a slot at the table, but do show up. We will always try to fit you in to a game!
  • GMs: if you need to cancel, let me know ASAP so I can find a replacement!
  • If you want a game scheduled, please ask!
Explore, Cooperate, and Report!

Just an overview for the games this month. There are only 2 new scenarios for organized play - and so far none on the horizon as Paizo forgets about us. I"m out the first week of October having to travel for work, but I do have a couple of GM's to help with the one shots - levels 5 and 4 respectively, but remember you can apply these to any character you have. We will have a new 1-4 the second week followed by the adventure path and a legacy season one 1-4. Then we can play the new 3-6 and another legacy 1-4.

Again anything you would like to see run, let me know. I can adjust.

Pathfinder One-Shot #1: Sundered Waves - GM James

For years, the pirate Captain Renlock sailed the coast of the Arcadian Ocean from the Shackles to the south to the waters of Varisia to the north searching for plunder and adventure—until one day his luck ran out. The ship was captured by a navy and the captain and his crew were apprehended and imprisoned. Years later, after the captain's death in prison, the four released crewmembers receive a message from the deceased captain pointing them to treasure he hid for them.

Pregens for this scenario will be provided!

PF2E Pathfinder One-Shot #2 Dinner at Lionlodge
GM#1: Brian
GM#2: Tyler

I’m going to need two GM’s for this session, since there are only four pregens for this session.

Invited to a hunting lodge to attend a grand dinner, the PCs are in for a treat. Initially called forth to go on an exciting hunt the following day, an uncomfortable meal causes some trepidation. The eccentric hunter who inhabits the lodge has other plans for his guests. Can the group figure out what's going on before their dinner is ruined?

PF2E 03-02 The East Hill Haunting Tier 1-4
GM1: TBD
GM2: TBD

With pressure mounting against the legal claim on one of their lodges, the Society sends a group of heroes to assist in the defense. Arriving in the Andoran city of Almas, the PCs quickly find themselves doing far more than paperwork when a ghostly specter seemingly accuses the Pathfinder Society of some heinous act. Forced to investigate the ghost’s appearance, it’s up to the PCs to figure out the truth behind the message and what is really going with the so-called “East Hill Haunting”.

PFS2 Pathfinder Adventure Path #146: Cult of Cinders (Age of Ashes 2 of 6) GM: Mitch

Stand Against the Darkness

The citadel atop Hellknight Hill has been claimed, along with the ring of ancient portals in its basement. What dangers lie beyond this magical portal, and what do the cultists who've used it before have in store? There's only one way to find out: the heroes must travel through to the lands beyond, where they will make new allies, face new enemies, and do much, much more! The Age of Ashes Adventure Path continues with "Cult of Cinders"—a complete adventure for 5th–8th level characters.

PF2E 01-14 Lions of Katapesh Tier 1-4 GM1: Tyler

Goblin patriarch, merchant, and Pathfinder Society ally Yigrig Moneymaker needs help! The cunning goblin merchant has big plans to build a bridge that will connect two promising trade partners, but something is stirring up the local wildlife and convincing the lions and other predators of the Katapeshi plains that goblins are more tasty than can possibly be true. The PCs must find out who's responsible for the trials Yigrig's family faces before the lions of Katapesh devour the entire goblin clan and end the chance for trade between two desert cities.

PF2E 01-15 A Blooming Catastrophe Tier 1-4 GM1: OJ

The Pathfinders travel to Iobaria, where elven druids and centaur warriors are united against an unlikely threat: a self-propogating horde of corrupted leshys! The source of the Abyssal corruption may be tied to a previous trip to Iobaria by the Pathfinder Society, so it falls to the PCs to seek out the source of the leshy incursion and restore balance to the woodlands.

He believes the bell is a critically important object to this community, and he needs a group of skilled Pathfinders to learn precisely where the bell came from, then return it to its rightful owners. Hello Richard,

I enjoyed GMing the other night, and I'm ready to try again (or so I think :) ).

On the sixth, I would be happy to be the other GM for the Dinner at Lionlodge.

On the twentieth, I'll finally get slightly braver and try my hand at the Lions of Katapesh.

On the in-between days, I'd like to play.

At any rate, we'll see how this goes. I think it'll go fine.

Thanks for all your help, and Everyone's patience with my fits and starts.
Tyler

I will volunteer to run A Blooming Catastrophe on the 27th (since the other days I'm either obligated or we already have GMs for them!)

Oh, and sign me up to GM on the 13th... (For some reason, I thought the GMs were filled there... and they aren't)
