July 2018 PFS @ The Wizard's Chest

Post by CDragos » Fri Jun 22, 2018 11:58 am

Greetings, Pathfinders!

Here is the schedule for July 2018. As you can see, we will be offering the sequel to the module Crypt of the Everflame - Masks of the Living God, an urban and dungeon adventure for levels 2-4. This is a full-length PFS sanctioned module that will take 2 sessions to complete. Sign up only if you can make it to both sessions and be sure to leave a real name, please. Exceptions are possible if we have full tables. Also note that modules grant a full 3 XP and up to 4 PP. Wow, that's a whole level! And a chronicle sheet loaded with awesome loot as well? Abadar be praised!
Each session is $2 to play which goes to the GM for their time spent prepping and running. Seats are limited to 6 players so sign up soon to guarantee a spot. Please reply in the thread on RockymountainPFS. Or, you can email me at cjdragos@gmail.com to sign up. Replying to the email that was generated by this post will go nowhere. Feel free to post what level & class PC you have when signing up. This will help your GM when prepping the adventure.

Thank you much for posting the July schedule so early. It helps me with scheduling.
I will let you know about GMing the module by this Sunday.

As a GM: TPK should never be the goal.....making the player's FEEL like TPK is imminent is the sweet spot.
As a Player: Kill the enemy, save the innocent, and solve all the puzzles - each with minimum resources expended. Loot anything of value. Then bask in glorious geek victory.

I would appreciate if you could sign me up for both standard games. Also, I won't be able to make it to the June 24th game (it wouldn't let me reply). Thank You,
Ian H

Since I'm the only signup for the core table & i don't have a confirmed GM, I am going to drop the core table and move to the standard. I have a 3rd level Vishkanya swashbuckler.

Hello everyone,
I'm the GM for Masks of the Living Gods on July 1st & 15th.
Please come prepared with all of your chronicle sheets and proof of ownership for your sources(physical books, watermarked PDFs, a screenshot of your paizo downloads or a picture of your physical books will all do) for the game on Sunday. I will be performing character audits before we start the first half this weekend.
Additional disclaimer: This module was designed to be played outside of PFS and the players would usually start at lvl 2 and end at lvl 4; a level 2 PC may have trouble towards the end of the module but you are welcome to bring any PC in tier(2-4)
Feel free to reach out to me with any questions.
My email is chrisapunch@gmail.com
I'll see y'all on Sunday
-Chris

Wow, character audit. Can't say I've ever heard of it in Denver except for the retirement arc. I much prefer the honor system I've seen to date.

Im glad someone will look over my PC. The first Tacticon i went to for PFS they handed out PF novels & other goodies for anyone wanting an audit. I'm glad i did it at the time. My wizard had not enough prestige points & gold due to GM credit & math errors.

I'm with Christian. A periodic review of characters is a healthy thing as it gives everyone a chance to make sure everything is lined up properly. Truth be told, it's a good reminder for me to get my characters audited as well.
