The Wizard's Chest: The Fall of Plaguestone multi-session event!

Greetings, Pathfinders!

Beginning Sunday, March 1st at The Wizard's Chest, I will be offering the PF2e module The Fall of Plaguestone. Beginner players are encouraged to apply. This adventure takes players from 1st to 4th level over the course of several 4-hour sessions. These will happen on the first and third Sundays of March and April (and possibly the first Sunday of May).

Before signing up, please make sure you can make it to at least 3 sessions. Seats are limited to 6 players and are first come, first served so sign up soon to guarantee your spot. There is an optional (yet greatly appreciated) $2 fee that goes to the GM for time & resources spent prepping. Also, please leave a real name when signing up.

To keep things simple, each player will create a level 1 Non-PFS character with only the PF2e Core Rulebook for PC creation. Do not register this PC for PFS. Also, do not choose a faction. Your PC is not a member of the Pathfinder Society and may have never heard of them. Feel free to post any questions.
Without further ado...

Sunday, March 1st & 15th, April 5th & 19th, 1-5pm
"The Fall of Plaguestone" (level 1 PCs)
A group of new adventurers traveling through the village of Etran's Folly—also known as Plaguestone—must come together to solve the murder of a friend. What starts as a simple investigation quickly turns sinister with the discovery of forbidden alchemy, mutant animals, and a nearby forest rotting away due to a mysterious blight. It becomes clear that if these heroes don't intervene to stop whatever evil is brewing, the fall of Plaguestone is all but certain!
GM Christian D.
1. Matt M. (Ranger - refugee)
2. Doug E. (Wizard - tinker)
3. Logan G. (Barbarian - teamster)
4. Eric D. (Druid - lesser scion)
5. K.C. French

This game is full. Recruitment is closed.

Cheers & Happy Gaming!

Also...
"Players can apply the Chronicle gained for playing
Pathfinder Adventure: Fall of Plaguestone to any of their legal organized play characters, granting that character 1 level’s worth of experience (12 XP), 12 Fame, 30 Treasure Bundles appropriate to a character of that level (applied in batches of 10 Treasure Bundles at each 4 XP interval), and 12 Reputation that can be assigned to any faction for which the character has the Faction Champion boon."

Cool, Doug. Let me know what u decide on so I can post it in the sign up. Just to point out, you're PC is not a member of the PF Society. Just a country bumpkin starting out in the world. Think "Basic D&D" Classic Fantasy.

So I can't use one of my existing PF2 characters? I will come up with a new character for the game. Do I list him in the My Organized Play section of the Paizo web site?

No & nope. Create a new non-PFS PC. I edited original post for clarity.

Got my character ready. His name is Talisin and is an evoker worshiping Nethys. Human of Taldan ancestry and resembles pictures of Aroden.

There are 5 backgrounds exclusive to the FoP adventure. I will email them to anyone that signs up. They are a great way to integrate your PC into this mini campaign.

Matt & Doug, I emailed them to both of you. Let me know if you decide to use one these backgrounds.

I created a Fall of Plaguestone Backgrounds section on the main WC page. Please try to use one of these backgrounds. It will add more flavor & incorporate your PC into the game much better.

Thanks!

I am very interested Christian!
New to Pathfinder, just started 2e. But will have to see if I can schedule around it before committing.
Looks like a lot of magic support, so I'll play a martial character. Maybe a Barbarian.

Awesome, Logan. We're all new so we'll be learning together. Try to use one of the backgrounds listed, even tailoring the description to work with your PC. No big deal if you choose another bg from the CRB. Also, only Doug mentioned he's playing a wizard. Play whatever you want. I even don't care if everyone plays a bard. Lol, that'd be kinda cool.

Cheers!
