APL is calculated by dividing total party level by the number of players. There are special rules to apply to pre-Season 4 adventures to adjust for large table size, but I don't remember them off the top of my head. Check those. So long as you follow the rules you can play seven players if everyone is okay with it. One dissenter means no-go, though.
