So now, I think for the 3 part that requires us to be the same I am dropping the Cleric and the Druid (animal Companion). I will save my cleric for other things.

Looking deep in to the Monk and Fighter. Got to research some more on both of these. Looking at a Dwarf Monk], not sure for the fighter. Outside of that nothing else looks appealing. Hopefully we get a Sorcerer or wizard.

Both the Monk and the Fighter WILL BE Melee focused. I am still deciding if I want to be Human to get an EXTRA class feat or go dwarf. I am also not sure if I want to be Shield and board or be more of a duelist style. I will also be taking several of the ranged feats. So I will be very versatile.

Party looks like:

Hillary - Rogue
Sean - Cleric
Micheal - Fighter/ maybe barbarian
Mark - ?
Jim K - ?

REMEMBER, based on how Richard posted the character creation:
The Lost Star
The Mirrored Moon
When the Stars go Dark
are the scenarios that will be the ones that focus on us being a group. So you will level up 1-9. Then 9-17 respectively.

The other scenarios:
In Pale Mountains Shadow
Sombrefell Hall
Hero's of Undarin
Red Flags
Seem that we can recreate what we want for each of those scenarios. Also looks like those have the ability to allow us to share coin and certain ones have certain items we can allocate for free.

Richard am I correct on this? If so I have ideas of what I want to play. This will be a good chance to try a variety of things.

One last thing download this sheet:
http://paizo.com/pathfinderplaytest#orgplay
and download Download Pathfinder Society Reporting Sheet as this document will allow you to get benefits when 2nd edition kicks off next year.

Richard,

I'm running Doomsday Dawn at Petrie's. If you think that will conflict too much with also being a player, I'm willing to drop out of this group.

Thanks,
Jim K

PS: If I do play, I'm thinking about a halfling bard with the "pathfinder hopeful" background.

Because this is a playtest, I think the player and GM perspectives would help contribute to a more complete evaluation of the rule set. Just my 0.02$

Having already run 5 tables of the Playtest, allow me to contribute my thoughts...

The points of running this is two-fold:
1. Have fun!
2. Figure out what exactly you like about the new SYSTEM and what you don't like about it.

Notice how I used all caps on the word system? That's because that is what we are focusing on... trying to make it a better system for final release next year. Just because you might have a little fore-knowledge of what's ahead doesn't mean you can't participate. Besides, we will always assume that people that have run a scenario will also have the maturity to not spoil it for anyone else.

Might be premature, but here are the concepts I'm leaning toward in the upcoming chapters:

Chapter 2 - Dwarf Barbarian scout
Chapter 3 - Goblin sorcerer (demonic bloodline) noble
Chapter 5 - Elf Cleric (of Callistria) acolyte
Chapter 6 - Human Ranger scholar (job within the Order is spy)

Thanks,
Jim K

UPDATED

Here are my selections. For the most part this is what I am for sure playing. For the one that requires2 clerics, I am FOR sure taking a cleric. For the stealth I was originally going to do a druid but they want stealth over aggressive. I was going to build a druid with a savage bully bear. I wish the 12th lvl scenario and the 14th level scenario were changed around.

Lost Star
Lvl 1 Fighter

In Pale Mountain's Shadow
Lvl 4 Alchemist or Bard

Affair ar Sombrefell Hall
Lvl 7 Cleric (Battle)

Mirrored Moon
Lvl 9 Fighter (leveled up from Lost Star)

Hero's of Undarin
Lvl 12 Sorcerer/ Wizard (fighter archetype)

Red Flags
Lvl 14 Rogue/Stealthy Ranger with stealthy cat.

When the Stars go Dark
Lvl 17 Fighter (leveled up from Mirrored Moon)

Okay, so I've gone ahead and done a spreadsheet-ish thing to let us see who's playing what in the adventures. I figured it might be helpful for anyone still making decisions or looking at whether or not we have party balance or meet the suggestions for party composition in each adventure.
Some notes on mine, the cleric in parenthesis indicator means the class listed with the cleric dedication feats added in. For adventure 3, if no one else is playing a straight forward cleric, I will drop the barbarian part and just go straight cleric. The Grey Maiden character will be a fighter taking the Grey Maiden dedication feats. If anyone sees anything is inaccurate here, feel free to note it or to copy and repost the list with your corrections.
Hope this helps.

I haven't heard from Shawn, he is the odd man out based upon the sign-ups on this weeks game - I would like a commitment to the entire play test - I have a friend on standby who is more than interested in going the entire distance with us, as I am sure is Alex.

The Grey Maiden character will be a fighter taking the Grey Maiden dedication feats.
I am super interested on how this will play out. I love the Grey Maiden concept and hope it works with PF2.

It's amazing. Although as a fighter I really don't see the point in investing in the armor feats. Hated how they lifted the restriction in first edition for PFS. That is being a female. That is the whole concept of the Gray Maiden. TO BE A FEMALE. I feel it diminishes the whole Prestige.

So I have already built my 12th level character for Hero's of Undarin. I build a Wizard that multi classes into fighter. He is designed to be a upfront character with heavy spell casting.

For this adventure we will need to divide up the preset magic items between us. This adventure is different from previous adventures. We are given a list of magic items that we divide. Then from there we can choose 3 of 4 items. The best part is we can trade these items.

I want to get a jump start now, so we aren't fumbling around at the last minute and wasting game time for this. So I hope you all stay pretty active and looking ahead now.

Below is a table of the items. The first column will be the item name and level. The second column is the page or pages the item is found on. So if the weapon os magical and made of special material it will list 2 pages. The third is who is interested in the item (This DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE THE ITEM). The final column is who actually has the item
