I personally like the druid idea. I think having an animal companion on the front lines could help. And she would still be ranged, only be with a bow an can get rapid shot.

Richard, out of curiosity what is your idea for your paladin? Who you going to worship? Are you going to be more melee oriented? or Support oriented?

I have only played the second Bonekeep (not usually a glutton for punishment) but I was wondering if a rouge was needed?

I think a rogue would be a good idea for the group, David...

Of course, I'm just the GM...  (I like my characters too much to put them through that...  LOL)

Me an hillary thought about it but we are too spoiled with the unchained. If you would like to join our band of crazy souls you will make #6. Bring what you want. We have our heavy hitter, our ranged, our arcane blaster, and several healers/buffers.

What kind of rogue would you bring?

So how is the party shaping up so far?  I'd like to know so I can schedule Core games that may benefit the party as a whole.  If anyone has any special requests for core adventures for the group, let me know ASAP so I can schedule them.  It may be best to have 7 characters to start (6 players and 1GM) so there is an alternate for contingencies.

Does everyone want to start with The Confirmation (free wayfinder and all)?

The confirmation sounds like a good starting place. I think we are sitting at a definite 5 players. Still looking for at least one more.

David...  Are you joining the group?

If David doesn't join the group then Wed night I will make an announcement and try and recruit that last person. I mean we are sitting pretty good with our current group.

So as I understand you have the following party:

Micheal: (M)Dwarven Barbarian
Hillary: (M)Gnome Bard/(F)Elven Druid w.Fizgig the Lion animal companion
Richard: Half-Orc Paladin
Hjal: (M)Farmer Jeb the Human Cleric of Urgathoa
Bill: (M)Pete the Human Wizard

Looks like you may want to look for a rogue to round out the party to find/disable traps and locks.  Otherwise the barbarian is going to need a bunch of HP and decent saves...

As for scenarios, I was thinking we'd start with The Confirmation and Destiny of the Sands trilogy for some of the treasures found on their boon sheets.  Eventually at level 5-9 I would include 4-03 so everyone would be eligible to buy the Trusty Buddy (adamantine crowbar).

Are there any special requests for core games to support the party?  Look back at some of your old non-core chronicle sheets and see if there is any cool equipment you'd like to have available for your characters and let me know what scenarios those are.

I'd have to look through some of the items with a fine-toothed comb, but ... it's my understanding that non-core items found on the reward sheets can still be used for Core characters.  Assuming this is true, spells that are non-core would be an added bonus for the Cleric and Wizard (me).

I'll try to take a quick look through a few scenarios to see if I see anything.

I have been working the last few nights so I have not had a lot of time to work on it. I am thinking about the build thought. I am looking at a half-elf for the skill focus (disable device) and +2 per. So far it looks like this;

Str 10
Dex 17
Con 14 (Bonekeep, duh)
Int 13 (getting combat expert & improved feint)
Wis 13 (Per)
Cha 12 (Bluff for feint)

I can cover dungeoneering and local for knowledge's. Taking reactionary and fast-talker (for the feint). Going heave on the trap work. I was going to convert my dwarf fighter who has only played the confirmation. More details to come.

Also, if it matters...  (And if we're trying to maximize things anyway...)

In terms of gold piece rewards, for the first two tiers, the adventures with the highest gp payout are --

0-24 Decline of Glory 1-7 775 gp
1-43 The Pallid Plague 1-7 607 gp
1-33 Assault on the Kingdom of the Impossible 1-5 553 gp
1-39 The Citadel of Flame 1-5 553 gp
0-06 Black Waters 1-5 550 gp
0-23 Tide of Morning 1-5 546 gp
1-29 The Devil We Know, Part 1: Shipyard Rats 1-7 538 gp

Although, to be honest, they have the gp rewards pretty tight with these scenarios.  Most tier 1-2 gives just over 500 gp.  I think that Decline of Glory must be an anomaly...

Didn't someone accuse us of having no life, Mr. Bill... Thats a lot of scenarios.

David, one main issue I see is getting sex to damage. I don't know of any scenario that will help with this at all... I don't know if you care about that.

Using sex for damage is going to be difficult to achieve in PFS anyway where we need to keep it PG13 ;)
