Remember, games don't happen if we don't have GMs!

Reallemon, I would suggest Tuesday's game on the 6th: The Frost Fur Captives.  It's low level and a very fun, quirky scenario.
If you and your financee are interested, I'll need your real names, and if you'd like to post what type of characters you'll be bringing that will help others decide what to bring.  Also, if you're undecided about what type of class or race for your character, you can play one of the pre-gens.  That may help decide what you'd like to build.

I would love to play that one, sure! Unfortunately my fiancee will be out of town then so she won't be able to make it. My name is Spencer; I was thinking of playing an alchemist but if you think that's too complicated for an introduction then I would probably just use a premade, because I'm undecided. I've read over the pathfinder society rules and the core handbook as well as a bit of other material, but what exactly do I need to bring or have ready to play? I've just been using online resources to learn; will I need to purchase a hard copy of anything?

Ok Spencer, I have you and Stef down for The Frost Fur Captives. 

Usually, PFS rules state that you need to own the resource that you're using.  So if you're playing a Alchemist, you'd need to own the Advanced Player's Guide or the PDF of it and bring it to the game.

If you're going to play a pre-gen to get the feel of a class, I think this could probably be waived.  There is a pre-gen for the Alchemist.  It's a free download from the Paizo PFS site (www.paizo.com/pathfindersociety).  Look for the Roleplaying Guild Resources link on the right.  Then, under Community Use Packages you can add Pregenerated Characters package to your downloads.  Most GMs will have the pre-gens available but since they've recently added a bunch of new pre-gens, I wouldn't expect everyone to have them all.

The Alchemist class is one of the more complicated classes but some people like to jump right in, so if you're up for it... go for it.

As to what to bring:
Dice are essential.
Something to write with and on.
2 Dollars - this goes towards a CollectorMania gift certificate for the GM to help compensate their time and expense of prepping a game.
The Pathfinder Society Guild Guide and Core Rulebook would be nice to have on hand.

CollectorMania is a great store, they have snacks and sodas but if you want something that's more of a meal , feel free to bring that in.

Hi there,
To answer your question:
1. Dice need to be physical - no electronic dice apps.
2. You need a paper copy of your character sheet, but you can also have electronic version on hand to play from a laptop/tablet.
3. Book sources can be physical or watermarked pdf.
