State of the Lodge - January 2019

It's a new year, and with the new year comes conventions! Yes, we several conventions that are coming up. In the next month, we have two of them, and the Venture Officers of the Rocky Mountain PFS Lodge are already planning for several more events past that!
The first event coming up is GalaxyFest which takes place in Colorado Springs at the Antlers Hilton from Feb 1-3. The web site is found at https://galaxyfest.org/ and we already have GMs ready to go for this event, so all you have to do is come on down and have fun!
The next event coming up is GenghisCon which takes place in Denver at the Hyatt Regency Aurora-Denver Conference Center from Feb 21-24. The web site is found at https://tabletop.events/conventions/genghiscon-42. We still have a few table slots open for GMs and if you run 4 games, you get your con badge for free! Just volunteer at viewtopic.php?f=26&t=3530. There will be lots of fun and guests from Paizo will be there!
Finally, if you are looking for something that isn't quite so local, the Organized Play Foundation which runs Pathfinder Society and Starfinder Society has put out the call for GMs for PaizoCon and GenCon! If you have ever wanted to go to either of these events and didn't think you had the money, this is a good way to do it! Volunteering can get you free books, free boons, free badges, and even a hotel room! (See the website for details on how it works!)
