PFS at Petries COS

Greetings Fellow Pathfinders/Starfinders,

I am Eric Parker, and I am now accepting GM and player signups for the session at Petrie's Family Games for January 26th 2019.

IMPORTANT: To sign up please email me directly at Computerpro82@gmail.com <--Clicking this link will cause your email program or smart phone to generate an email directly to me. Simply hitting “reply” to this email (the one generated by the announcement) will NOT get your email to anyone. Alternatively you may post a reply in the thread on RockyMountainPFS.com that was generated by this announcement.

Players at Petrie's are not required to pay to play, but a $2 per player per session (modules count as two sessions) contribution to store credit for the GM is recommended. This should not be considered a barrier to players who can't afford the contribution, and the first session for new players is always free.

GMs also receive a $5 store credit for running a successful game. This will be given per session, and it is only given for a scheduled, publically accessible store event (no pick up games, no private sessions.)

We are accepting GM volunteers, but have a standby if no one steps up. If you want to sign up to GM or play, just let me know by replying to this thread or emailing me at computerpro82@gmail.com. Anyone who wants to GM any future games can also contact me.

All PFS games are being offered as CORE, but if a majority of the players reply by midnight Wednesday before the session that they would prefer regular PFS, we will switch the games to regular PFS.

Good news and bad news:
Bad news: I was going to run or play, but won't be able to this weekend because of the good news.
Good news: We sold our house! That means I'll be using the next three weekends to move things into storage while our new house is being built and/or moving things into the basement of our friends' house where we'll be staying while the building is happening.
Sorry I'll be missing out on some great fun, but wishing you all the best in my absence!

For some reason the "attend" button didn't seem to work.

I'd like to get in on both sessions, please.

Thanks,
Jim K

Here is the issue for this Saturday. Sean (AKA Pippin) was the backup GM if no one else signed up, as no one has. I don't have time to prep these two scenarios between now and Saturday, so we need volunteers to GM in order to have games.

Any volunteers?

I can probably squeeze out enough time between now and Saturday to prep one scenario. My first thought is to prep the second scenario so the person prepping the first scenario can avoid potential spoilers. Of course if no one steps up to run the first scenario, we have a gap in the day, unless I run the second scenario in the series first, which doesn't make sense.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to proceed?

I guess I will start prepping the first on to start at 10AM, and if I can get through prepping both scenarios, I will run both scenarios.

Thanks, Eric. I'm sorry I couldn't help with that.

That's OK Jim. I managed to get both scenarios prepped, although not as well as I usually do. Both sessions should still happen.
