Could you please add me to Table 1 on the 15th?

I'm new to Pathfinder and PFS, but have played Starfinder (not Society) and 5e. I have the 2e Core Rulebook and want to create a wizard, instead of playing a pre-gen. Is there anything important I should know for PFS preparation? Is there still a Welcome to PFS boon for first PCs? (I've been reading a lot of blog stuff.)

Paul,

Be sure to familiarize yourself with the Guide to OP. There is no "Welcome to Society" boon. There are, however, several traits and boons your character may acquire from the start depending on what faction or colleges you trained in. Feel free to ask any questions in the General Discussion thread.

Welcome Aboard!

Interesting. Quest #1 is replayable, however, Quest #2 is not.

Didn't see a reminder or update post for tonight's game. It's still happening, right?

Double checked the boons rulings (found here: http://www.organizedplayfoundation.org/ ... tion-boons )
You can only have 5 total boons slotted for any scenario, and only one of those can be a faction and promotional boon.

Promotional Vestment Boon:
Provides +1 circumstance on any hero point reroll.

Promotional Accessory Boon:
Up to twice per adventure, you can spend an action to reduce the severity of your frightened or stupefied condition by 1.

Also, Zach makes handy handouts and posts them here: http://pfsprep.com/e107_plugins/forum/f ... um.php?495

I'm looking at the cdot predictions for the roads tonight, and I don't think I can make it to the 6pm game tonight. Stay safe people!

Thanks, Evan. Keep us updated everybody, don’t want anybody making the drive to an empty store.

I'm still hoping to be able to drive over from Aurora around 4pm, but keep monitoring for a cancellation. I don't mind the snow, but the traffic could be the deciding factor. It took me an hour to get there last time, without snow, and I'll only have a 2-hr window after work. Grrr!

I drive all over the metro area delivering auto & machinery parts. It's pretty bad and gonna get worse after 2pm. 8-12 inches expected this evening.

Roads are brutal today and as Christian pointed out, they’re supposed to get worse. Not a night to be out if you can avoid it.
