Absalom Initiation it is, then. I'll move Star Crossed to the 19th.

Houston, we may have a problem. It doesn't say if Star-Crossed Voyages is repeatable on Paizo? Only that it's Horizon Hunters. I plan on playing it at GenghisCon with my 3-4 level Wizard, so I may have to drop out on the 19th? If it is repeatable, I'm considering running a pre-gen to add to another character. Can someone confirm whether it's repeatable or not?

If there's no "repeatable" tag, then it's not repeatable. Would you be willing to GM it? I'm sure Zach would be ok with that.

Hmmm? How does that work exactly? Can you both GM and play a Scenario? And who would the credit be applied to? I'll go read the PFS rules, but figure you guys would definitely know... I'm getting into the idea of becoming a GM, so this could be a great opportunity. Especially with a table full of GMs!

You can GM a scenario (and get full rewards even if the party fails) and you can also play the same scenario but they have to be on different PCs. It's a good way to build a GM blob, which is a PC you can rebuild at any time before playing it - even if it has dozens of just GM credits.

I'll do it then. No time like the present to get going. Thanks for the suggestion. That is, of course, if Zach is okay with swapping places?

Zach is all good with you GMing on the 19th. We're always more than happy to have people GM so that Zach or myself can play instead. I've noted it in the schedule.

Cheers!

Oh, if you need to borrow the scenario, any maps, minis, etc... Just let us know.

I'll purchase the scenario and see what I might need. I might have some usable minis or substitutes. The maps may be a great thing to borrow, but I might just purchase them myself. I already bought the pirate ship flip-mat for the quest I'm running at GenghisCon. This is quite exciting to try a 4-hr first, before that micro-quest. Thanks for this opportunity! I wish I could just quit my day job and move to Avistan.

Nice, thanks Paul!

Maps needed are:
Pathfinder Flip-Mat Classics: Ship
Starfinder Flip-Mat: Jungle World

GameMastery Map Pack: Shrines
Pathfinder Flip-Tiles: Forest Perils Expansion
Pathfinder Flip-Mat: Bigger Temple

Ones in bold are ones I know I own. I think I own shrines too, I'll have to check. You can borrow any of them flip-mats at any time, I tend to keep them in my trunk. The tiles & map pack are kept at home, so I'd need to know in advance.

Wow, that's quite a few! That would require a lot of explaining to my wife to buy all those! It would be much appreciated if I could please borrow those for the session, Zach. If you check and find that you're missing some, let me know and I'll get those.

I just bought the scenario, so I'll dig into it and see if any other questions arise. I have a bunch of Dragonborn minis from 5e, do you think they might be okay as Lizardfolk? Probably not, but I'll see what other minis might be nice to get on my own.

Paul,

The GM Discussion board on the Paizo forum is your bff. There should be a thread for Star-crossed by now (not sure since I only check those boards for the scenario I know I will be running soon). Be sure to keep checking that thread daily and ask any questions there.

Cool, I'll check it out. Thanks. This is going to be fun

Just on perusal, there quite a range of beasties in this adventure. We may need to rely on markers and theater of the mind a bit. GMing can get real expensive, real quick! There's nothing cooler than realistic minis though.

Remember, there's a low tier & a high tier. Don't combine tiers.

Yeah, I saw the Tiers stack up by Character levels in the Society rules.

And to tag on, we're definitely doing the low tier, so don't bother with the high tier stuff at all. I have 3 or 4 different color blank bases that you can use to help distinguish things, and if you want me to bring some minis for you to borrow, feel free to PM me a list of creature types. Even better if you can throw in some things that aren't in the scenario so I don't know what's coming :) Otherwise, not a big deal to use stand-ins at all. As long as they're easily distinguished by you, that's all that matters.
